Hi, I’m Amanda – NASM Certified Wellness Coach and a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher recognized by Yoga Alliance, an international organization; I am also a former schoolteacher. I love teaching, but after almost 25 years in the classroom, I was ready for a change. Spending time on my yoga mat and engaging in regular Wellness Practices allows me to be grounded and enjoy a more peaceful life, so I made the shift to a career in the Healing Arts. My calling is to teach and help others, and I am honored to show others how to incorporate Wellness Practices into their lives. Shifting career paths to the Healing Arts has been life-changing, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to engage in this work.
What is Wellness Coaching?

Wellness Coaching is a personalized approach to apply learned and developed strategies that lead to changes for a better quality of life in mental, physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Upon embarking on your wellness journey, we will work together to develop a set of goals, long-term and short-term, and we will develop an action plan for you to achieve success. I'll be with you along the way, offering research-based strategies and techniques to help you reach your goals; subsequent sessions will be shaped based on your progress, and your plan can be tweaked at any time to help keep you on a successful path.

Over time, the intention will be for you to create healthy habits, master these strategies, and elevate your overall well-being.


I deeply value my personal well-being, so when I'm not coaching, I love spending time outdoors reading, hiking, paddleboarding, or tending to my yard. I have three college-age children as well as three cats (one for each kid), and my sweet pup Winston; I love spending time with all these beings. I am also passionate about writing and have been dabbling in both essay and poetry writing. Additionally, I find journaling to be a creative and emotional outlet. Travel is another passion, and I happily hop on a flight or take a road trip as opportunities arise. I have a sweet circle of friends whom I adore, and I spend time with these beautiful humans often.
